I started at Burlington in 1999 swimming rec since I joined half way through the season and then I swam one year of 15-20 B, one year of 15-18 A, and one year of T7 combo. In 2003 I swam T7 senior at the Olympium for a year and then I headed to Mac from September 2004 to April 2008. I swam all four years at Mac with McMaster's team and I was the President of the club from September 2005 until I graduated in April. I was also the secretary of the university league (CUSSL) in 2006/2007 and then was voted president for the 2007/2008 season. When the University season was over in February of each year I changed my membership over to swim masters for Burlington. I went to California to the FINA Masters World Championships in August of 2006 with my duet partner Kim Davis and most recently I put together a team of university student from Mac, Waterloo and Laurier to go to the 2008 Championships in Perth Australia where we finished first in team and my trio finished second.
Being a multimedia student, I also made us a website. Click here to have a look at it if you want!
I've also done some coaching for Burlington throughout the last few years. I graduated from Mac in April and now I'm working full time at Mac as a Communications Assistant in Athletics and Recreation (thanks in large part to all the work I've done and people I met through Mac Synchro), and I have two part time jobs (just because I like them!) in Promotions at Y108, AM900 CHML and Country 95.3 (some Hamilton radio stations) and I'm at Synchro Ontario as well putting together a new recreational program that will be launched next year.
