>> OSSC Swims in Support of CBCF

Swimmers
from the Olympium Synchro Swim Club took to the water on Saturday
October 21 for their annual Burning Bright for Breast Cancer
swim in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
For
a third consecutive year, OSSC teamed up with other member
clubs from across the province to participate in the extraordinary
relay style marathon, a Synchro Swim Ontario initiative, that
has helped fund the fight against breast cancer every October
since 2004.
OSSC
athletes were extremely successful in raising donations again
this year, exceeding their target of $10,000 and pushing their
3-year cumulative total to more than $23,000; province wide,
athletes are hoping their collective efforts will reach $100,000
in 2006.
Although
October is just about over, there’s still time to join
our athletes in their exceptional support of this worthwhile
cause. OSSC will continue to accept donations for the CBCF
until November 3, 2006. 100% of donations support the Ontario
Chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and donations
of $20 or better are automatically eligible for a tax receipt.

At
OSSC, we are particularly proud of our athletes who have become
part of a
powerful community of people whose combined efforts are truly
making a
difference. WELL DONE GIRLS!!
