>> Strong Performances for Canada at FINA Junior Synchro Swim Championships!

Strong performances by Team Canada earned accolades from fans and a fifth place finish at the 10th FINA Junior Synchro Swimming World Championships, hosted by China’s Guangdong Swimming Federation at the ‘Shi jilian’ Sports Centre Swimming Pool in Foshan City.

A total of fourteen international teams entered the 5-day competition that concluded on October 11th with Russia earning a victory in the team event followed by China, Japan and Spain. Canada was fifth with a championship score of 81.999.

Congratulations to OSSC’s Courtney Brown, Jennifer Knobbs, Erin Wilson, Coaches Elena Podolsky, Julia Warren and the entire Junior National Team – you have represented Canada well and we are so very proud of you! (PS. Hurry home…..we miss you!)
