Eleven OSSC Tier 6 athletes will have the opportunity to gain some international competitive experience next week when they travel to Lima Perú to represent the club at the V Sincro Aquatic Cup.
One team, one duet and two solos have received their assignments for the 4-day event that takes place July 5 to 8 and will host teams from countries including Brazil , Canada , Colombia , Chile , United States , Perú, Puerto Rico and Venezuela .
Following strong performances at the Canadian Espoir Championships in May, team coach Elena Podolski has continued working with the girls throughout the month of June to maintain their momentum heading into this event. “The team looks forward to making a big splash in Perú” she said, “and I am confident they will make a great impression”.
Team members include Jordan Field, Mali Foster, Samantha Hainer, Carlin Jessop, Angela Kokolakis, Tess Kruspe, Amanda Messere, Samantha Nealon and Xenia Reinfels; Lindsay Lukezic and Natalie Mintz round out the contingent as the club's only duet entry.
