OSSC extends a hearty congratulations and ‘Job Well Done!' to Valerie Lukezic on being named Synchro Ontario 's 2007 Volunteer of the Year .

Nominated initially by OSSC for her significant role at club level, Valerie was honoured with the prestigious title during the 3rd Annual Tier Championships Athlete Banquet held in Ottawa on May 31.

Valerie has volunteered in one fashion or another at a majority of club events over the past 3 seasons and sets the example for volunteers province wide. She has devoted countless hours of her time to make a significant difference at OSSC and has played an important role in promoting and supporting the sport and its participants at various Synchro Ontario events.

OSSC joins Synchro Ontario in their salute to Valerie for her ongoing contribution to the sport of synchronized swimming and extends a sincere ‘thank you' for all her hard work and dedication that has landed her the well deserved distinction of Volunteer of the Year .
