>> OSSC Athletes Qualify for Provincial Team Trials

24 athletes from the Olympium Synchronized Swimming Club have qualified for the final phase of the Provincial Teams selection process after posting strong finishes in the compulsory figures competition during the 2008 Provincial Championships, which were held at the Victor Davis Pool in Guelph February 15 – 17.

A total of 83 athletes from across the province have now received invitations to participate in the next phase of the Trials process, which will culminate with final selections for each of three teams that will represent Ontario in the summer of 2008.

Congratulations to Alyssa Bezeau, Candace Caskey, Rachel Demmers, Sarah Graham, Rachel Kowalski, Samantha Kowalski, Lindsay Lukezic, Rebecca Maule, Victoria Mintz, Annette Petersen and Lara Tutton, who have qualified for the Junior Team Ontario selection process. 

Congratulations as well to Chloe Brown, Kathaleen Carpenter, Jordan Field, Mali Foster, Samantha Hainer, Tess Kruspe, Haley Miller, Natalie Mintz, and Samantha Nealon who have qualified for the Ontario 13-15 Team selection process.

And special congratulations to Claire Caskey, Cosette Leblanc, Breanne Messere, and Sachel Robarts who have qualified for the 12&U Team Ontario selection process. 

The final phase of the Provincial Teams Selection Process will take place April 26 at the Alder Street Pool in Orangeville. For more information about this event, visit the Synchro Ontario web-site.
