>> Halloween Extreme Fundraiser

Athletes of all ages turned out for an afternoon of thrills and chills at OSSC's Halloween Fundraiser on October 28 at Bowlerama in Etobicoke.
Decked out in boo-tiful costumes, ghosts and ghouls both young and old arrived for the club's first costumed fundraiser and were treated to an afternoon of ghostly games, raffles and prizes as well as some devilishly delicious dishes and treacherous treats that satisfied even the most ghastly appetites!
As the sinister setting darkened, partakers and a few mysterious accomplices enjoy some friendly frames of ‘glow in the dark' bowling; coaches could be seen lurking the lanes in search of those donning some of the best threads of the season to award prizes for the costume contest. Congratulations to Claire Caskey, Lindsay Lukezic, Kallie Sims-Campbell and Adam Tobias-Iantorno who obviously dressed to impress, with getups that overshadowed the rest in four distinct categories.
Needless to say, the event was a monstrous delight for everyone who came and even some of the "groan"-ups were lured out of hiding to participate in this Halloween howler that netted more than $7,000 in much-needed funds to benefit club coffers.
Special thanks to ‘good witch' Libby Walker and her dedicated group of volunteers who were responsible for brewin' up this batch of fa-BOO-lous fun. No bones about it, this event was a spook-tacular success!
