Courtney Brown was one busy participant in last weekend's Canadian Open Synchronized Swimming Championships in Winnipeg .

The 17-year-old Markham native was a member of the Olympium Synchro team that captured the bronze medal.

Brown also swam in duet with Samantha Mawhinney and finished fourth. In solo, Brown was 10th.

Also competing for the Olympium Synchro senior team along with 20-year-old Markham resident Victoria Lee, the tandem helped the Etobicoke-based entry finish fourth.
