More good News! In addition to the Kids "In Sync" and High Performer Competitive curriculums, OSSC offers a Masters program for those with an enduring passion for the sport of synchronized swimming. Designed just for adults 20 or better, participants with varying degrees of swimming competency can come together and enjoy the fun, friendship and fitness this program has to offer.

For newcomers to the sport, a 1.5 hour per week recreational program offers the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of synchronized swimming while enjoying the full range of benefits from staying physically active. In addition to endurance and stroke improvement, swimmers will learn the fundamental sculls and basic figures that are later organized into routine components and choreographed to music. Our recreational program is a safe and enjoyable opportunity for swimmers of all ages, at all fitness levels, who have already learned basic swimming skills.

For more proficient swimmers and retired athletes looking for the opportunity to stay active in the sport, our competitive program offers regular training and structured workouts lead by a NCCP certified coach that focuses more on synchro figures and routine composition and performance. In addition to 3 hours of instruction per week, scheduled competitions at sanctioned events throughout the year provide added fun and excitement while building team camaraderie. In 2005, our Competitive Masters were acclaimed National Champions in their age category and proudly participated at the World Masters Games in Edmonton .

OSSC is always eager to welcome new members to both their Recreational and Competitive Masters programs. For more information, contact Ann Dunlop or Lois Jackson.
